The First Annual Grateful Dragons Tournament

Advanced and Entry Level Divisions, Fundraiser Benefits Colorado Veterans

The dragons are filled with gratitude about how Colorado is embracing American Mah Jongg.  What better month than November to celebrate our thankful dragons?

November 11, 2026

9am to 4pm

Relish Food Hall in Louisville, CO

Charity to benefit Colorado Veterans

TWO DIVISIONS - there's a spot for you here!

For the first time in our tournament history, we will host two divisions:

  • Advanced Level - for players that have played in some or many tournaments and feel confident with the tournament pace.  You know strategy, can play defense (in your sleep), and you're probably the fastest tile racker in the West.
  • Entry Level - you're confident playing at pace (can easily play four hands in 55 minutes), can rack with speed, but maybe you lack a little confidence on defense, or you are newer to tournament play.

We will post full tournament rules here on or before August 1st.

How can I get ready?

Colorado Mah Jongg hosts frequent guided play sessions and tournament preparation sessions.  Visit our Eventbrite page and play as often as you can. That's the best way to get ready to play competitively!
